EZ Collard Greens – by Chef Gregory James Routt

Ingredients

  • 4 bunches
    collard greens, stemmed, washed and torn into bite sized pieces
  • 2 cups
    water
  • 1/2 medium
    red bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1/2 medium
    green bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1/4 cup
    olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon
    salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon
    black pepper

Cooking Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker.
  2. Cover.
  3. Cook on LOW 3 to 4 hours or on HIGH 2 hours.

Collard greens are an all time favorite of Chef Gregory James Routt.
